Activating your M2M SIM

How to activate your Global M2M SIM card

If you purchased your SIM card from www.globalm2msim.com directly you do not need to activate your SIM.

1. Make sure your device is switched off before inserting your SIM card.

2. Insert your SIM into your device.

3. Switch on your device and wait for it to connect to a network.

4. To establish a data connection ensure you have set the Access Point Name (APN) in your device to 3iot.com

If you purchased your SIM from one of our resellers you must manually activate your SIM and create an account with us.

Your SIM will not work until it has been registered and activated.

To activate your SIM go to www.globalm2msim.com and click on ACTIVATE.

 

If you purchased your SIM from the globalm2msim.com web site, select the YES option.

If you purchased your SIM elsewhere or if it was supplied in your device, select the NO option.

Enter your details and follow the onscreen instructions.  It takes about 30 seconds to complete the process (depending on how quickly you type!)

Activation of your SIM card is immediate.
