If your SIM or device cannot send an SMS or dial out from your alarm or device, check the following:
- Does your SIM have enough credit? Log in to your account and check the balance.
- Is your SIM inserted correctly?
- Is your device switched on?
- Make sure your device is dialing using the correct format. It should always include the country code for the number that is being dialed, even if in the same country.
- If your device does not give any indication of it being registered on a network, then you could try putting your SIM into an unlocked mobile phone to check you are in an area where there is mobile coverage and that its registering OK.
For example, if your device is trying to send an SMS or dial out to a UK number, it should dial 44 (for the UK) then the number.
For example to dial a UK mobile it should dial 447xxxxxxxxx
