Reolink CCTV camera and APN settings
We are aware that a number of customers use our Pay Monthly SIMs in Reolink CCTV cameras.
If you purchased the Camera and SIM from Ultra Secure, your camera should automatically connect and no manual set up should be required.
However, if you purchased our Pay Monthly SIM with ID starting 89353 you may need to set up the Camera manually to ensure it connects to all networks.
Setting the APN on the Reolink Go camera
The Reolink Camera is preloaded with the Access Point Name APN settings of some networks so that it will automatically connect. Typically the APN will be for a single netowrk SIM not a multinetwork SIM.
If the APN is not set correctly with our SIM it may not connect, or may intermittently connect. This is NOT a fault on the SIM. Data connection may depend on the network the camera has decided to register on. Some networks will allow data to flow with the incorrect APN set and others will not.

If using our Pay Monthly SIM with ID starting 89353 the APN is 3iot.com
No user name or password is required.
Applies to: Reolink Go
Step 1. Create a .txt file named as "my_custom_apn.txt", please note the file name my_custom_apn.txt cannot be changed.
To create a .txt file use a text editor on your PC such as NotePad
Step 2. The file content is as below
apn=3iot.com
username=
password=
Step 3. Download the "my_custom_apn.txt" to the root directory of SD card.
Step 4. Remove the battery of the camera, then install the SD card and take back the battery, press the reset button with a needle to factory reset the camera.
