Why do I need to activate my SIM

All SIM cards need to be activated and registered before they can be used.

Activating your SIM "switches it on" so that it can connect to a network.

We also need to know who owns the SIM.  We link your SIM(s) to your account.  This enables you to administer and manage your SIMs, check balances, add credit and usage.
